Porsche has done an incredible job of making sure their only competition is from themselves. When was the last time you heard about any Porsche benchmarking another brand’s models? For me though, the GT3 RS and Turbo S are the most difficult to choose between. They are so similar, yet so different it is astounding. One is a phenomenal road car that happens to be a track killer. The other proves cars can be weaponized and still be a great road car. I want to ask everyone, which do you prefer, GT3 RS or the Turbo S?

One more question, what would you say to a Porsche 911 Turbo GT3 and Turbo GT3 RS? Something that would combine both models and extend Porsche into the Aventador SV niche of “bargain” hypercar.

Turbo S, because it’ll be a DD and I won’t track it too often (or probably ever :/)

991 Turbo S, it’s just a better all rounder, and IIRC it’s still faster around a track.

911 GT3 RS with a turbo motor? Would probably have to call it 935

As the Turbo S actually goes from 0-60 in 2.6 (R&T tested), I’ll pick that.

This is the first time I’ve had to thing would I rather have a Turbo S or a GT3 RS.....
and it’s hard.
but I’ve come to a conclusion
I'd take my money and go buy myself a 911 Turbo with every major option I want, and come in just around the price of the Turbo S

GT3 RS Turbo? I think you mean a GT2 RS (It’s already been done in the past), and I am strongly in support of that.
RennSport cars will always be the better choice in my mind.

I mean a Turbo S with GT3 specifications as opposed to turbo charging the GT3 RS. I always felt like the Turbo models could have the same line as the Carreras (Base, S, GTS, GT4/3/2, etc.). The cars are really different, so setting up a Turbo for the track would make a different car from turbo charing the GT3 line. In my head anyways, simply due to fundamental focus difference.
